Description
The barn at Mynte Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century, is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone tiled roof with coped gables. The west front has an off-centre gabled cart entry with a cambered timber lintel. Lean-tos are present on each side, with roofs that extend down over them. Inside, there is a four-bay double purlin roof supported by tie-beam and collar trusses. Attached to the north end of the barn is a long range of 19th-century stalls, also with stone tiled roofs, which include elliptical-arched openings. The first range has six openings and a coped north gable, while the second range has five openings and a coped north gable.
