Description

The entrance gate piers to the drive of Shaw House date from the 18th century and are constructed of ashlar stone. They feature a moulded plinth, two fielded panels, and a cornice, but do not have finials. The iron gates are complemented by attached dwarf walls that have flat concrete swept coping. These gates mark the entrance to a straight avenue leading to the house, which is centrally positioned at the end of the drive.
