Description
The Warner and Jerrard monuments are a pair of chest tombs located in the churchyard, 10 metres south-east of the south-east corner of the chancel of the Church of St. Andrew. The tombs date from the 17th and 18th centuries and are made of limestone.
The first tomb, to Thomas Warner, who died in 1771, and his wife Mary, who died in 1781, features a moulded table with an inset hipped centre, recessed corners adorned with fruit garlands, and panelled sides. The second tomb, dedicated to James Jerrard, who died in 1858, has a moulded table and base with an eroded hipped central section and recessed corner balusters.
