Description
Three chest tombs are located in the southeastern corner of the churchyard of the Church of St Andrew.
The southernmost chest tomb dates from around 1744 and is made of stone. It features a moulded cornice and base, with recessed end balusters and fielded side panels. The inscription is not legible at the time of survey.
The second monument is dedicated to Elizabeth Weekes and dates from around 1739. This stone tomb also has a moulded cornice and base, recessed end balusters, and fielded side panels, along with an inscription.
The northernmost chest tomb, dating from around 1731, is constructed of stone and includes a moulded base and cornice, recessed corner balusters, and fielded side panels. The inscription on the top and sides is not legible at the time of survey.
