Description

This is an 18th-century detached cottage located in Ansty Village. The exterior is primarily uncoursed dressed limestone with a thatched roof and limestone and brick stacks on the right side. It is a two-story, two-window building. A planked door is on the left side, alongside a two-light casement window. Two two-light casement windows are located on the first floor. The left return side is brick with light timber framing to the gable, topped with a half-hipped roof. A weatherboarded extension with a planked door is attached to the left side. The right return side is windowless, and features a coped verge to the roof. Inside, there's an open fireplace with a timber lintel.
