Tahoa is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone with a tiled roof and features gable end brick stacks. The cottage has its gable end facing the road and is two storeys high with two windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door set in a gabled porch, with a three-light casement window to the left and a two-light casement window to the right. On the first floor, there are two two-light casement windows. To the left of the main structure is a single-storey extension that includes a planked door and a two-light casement window. The right side of the cottage has a two-light casement window, while the rear is windowless. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in January 1986.
