ST 92 NE FOVANT CHURCH LANE (west side)

3/177 Strong and Toy monuments in the churchyard about 4 metres south of south aisle of Church of St George

GV II Chest tomb and body tomb. Late Cl8 and late C17. Limestone. Chest tomb to west has two recessed panels and recessed panelled pilasters to main sides, lozenge end panels and cavetto-moulded flat top; inscription to John Strong died 1771. Body tomb with chamfered sides and inscription on north side, partly illegible with date 1666.
