Description

Gerrards Farmhouse, now a detached house, dates to around 1860. The house is constructed of dressed limestone with a Welsh slate roof and gable end stone stacks. It has a symmetrical front facade with three windows. The central bay projects forward, featuring a round-arched doorway framed by a keystone and impost blocks, with a recessed four-panelled door and a transom light above. There are six-pane sash windows on either side of the doorway on the ground floor. The first floor has a central round-arched sash window with nine panes, a keystone and impost blocks, with six-pane sashes either side. The left return shows a six-pane sash window on the ground floor, while the right return has two narrow sashes to both the ground and first floors. A two-storey rear range extends to the right, featuring a glazed door and a two-light casement window. A lean-to extension is attached to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
