Description

The monument to George, 9th Lord of Haresfield, is a chest tomb located about 16 meters northwest of the porch in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter. It dates from the late 17th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with splayed capping and has plain slab sides and ends. There is an illegible inscription on the north side. At the time of the survey in January 1986, the monument was partially overgrown.
