4/271 Chest tomb about 16 yards south-south-east of south door of the Church of St George

GV II

Chest tomb with illegible inscription. Probably late C18. Finely cut sand- stone. Moulded base and capping with flat top, corner balusters, oval side and end panels, the latter with garlanded surrounds. One of a pair of monuments outside the south porch, the other being for John Slade (qv).
