Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 8 metres to the northwest of the north porch of the Church of St George, is likely from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a moulded plinth, sunken panels, with the west panel displaying a double-incised border. The tomb has shaped corner balusters and a chamfered top. The inscription was illegible at the time of the last survey in October 1984.
