Description

Trellis Cottage is a mid-19th century, two-story cottage situated on the north east side of the street. It features two ranges of windows with irregular spacing. The building is constructed of red brick with three bands of trellis obscuring most of the front facade. The windows are paired casements with stepped chamfered edges. A central door is sheltered by a pointed wooden porch supported by brackets. The roof is covered with pantiles, and includes two brick chimneys and ridge cresting that has decorative terracotta scrollwork to the south east gable. The cottage forms part of a group with numbers 31 and 31A, 32, numbers 34 to 37, and the wall between numbers 32 and 37.
