Description
31 and 31A The Halve is a late 18th-century building that has been altered. It stands 2 and a half storeys tall and is roughcast rendered. The structure features two gabled half-dormers that rise from the wall, each with coped verges and small moulded kneelers. To the right, there is a coped verge and small kneeler on the slate roof. The building has two brick chimneys and stone gutter blocks.
The attic has single hung glazing bar sash windows, while the first floor includes three windows, with the center window being blind. To the right, there is a modern casement window, and to the left, a glazing bar sash window set in a raised surround with inner edges that are beaded. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed projection that has two windows, one of which is coupled, featuring rustic voussoirs. There is also a blocked doorway with rustic voussoirs. The center of the ground floor has two modern doors.
31 and 31A, along with No 32 and Nos 34 to 37, as well as the wall between Nos 32 and 37, form a group.
