Description

23 The Halve is a building dating from around the 1790s. It has three storeys and features two windows, constructed from red brick that was originally paired with No 22. The exterior is now roughcast, with stone lintels, cills, and coping to the parapet. The roof is covered with concrete double Roman tiles. The windows are modern casements, and there is a modern door set in a plain stone surround, which is accessed by four concrete steps. A door leads to the basement below the ground floor window. The property has area railings and a gate with arrowhead dog rails. This building is listed for its group value, as it forms part of a group with Nos 23 to 29, which are consecutive.
