Description

17 The Halve is an early to mid-19th century, two-storey, end of terrace house located on the northeast side of The Halve. The building features two windows and is constructed of painted brick, with a lean-to extension on the right side. The windows are glazing bar sash types set in stone surrounds, although the ground floor windows have been altered with the addition of modern casements. The roof is covered with concrete pantiles and has an off-ridge brick chimney. To the left, there is a pilastered doorpiece with a glazed door, while to the right, a stone door surround frames a recessed door. The lean-to extension has double doors with a wooden lintel. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 13 and 14, as well as Nos 17 to 21 in succession.
