Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century ashlar-built house, originally faced with channelled rustication on the ground floor. The building is now largely covered in creeper. It is two storeys high, with a three-window front featuring glazing bar sash windows. Architectural details include side piers, a string course, a cornice, and a parapet. The roof is now covered with modern cement tiles, has coped verges, and features brick chimneys, two of which are rendered at the gable ends of the front ridge. A pilastered doorway is topped with a projecting cornice and a semi-circular fanlight, with a four-panel door. Blocked cellar lights are also present. The house is part of a group that includes numbers 31 and 31A, numbers 34 to 37, and the walling between numbers 32 and 37.
