Description

The farm store at Cornbury Farm, located south of the farmhouse, is a Grade II listed building from the early 19th century. It is timber framed and covered with vertical lap boarding, topped with a thatched roof. The structure consists of four bays and features stable doors on the first bay and the north gable. The roof is hipped. Inside, there are jowled posts with short angle braces supporting roughly chamfered ties. The principal rafters are supported by queen struts, with a plated yoke and two tiers of purlins, which include long straight windbraces on the lower level. The south gable has a brick wall facing the farmyard.
