Description

Marsh Cottage is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Marsh in Bromham Saint Edith's. The house is constructed of chequered brick with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof, with stacks at the north end and rear. It is two storeys high, with a 3-window front featuring cyma-moulded flush 2-light stone mullion windows. The detailing includes flush quoins and a raised band. The front door is set within a flush-moulded stone surround. A gabled porch has been added. Single-storey additions have been built to each end of the original structure.
