Description

The barn at Templeman's Farm dates from around 1700 and features English bond brick walls with weatherboarded gables and a tiled roof. It has five bays and a south aisle. A hipped porch is located on the south side of the central bay, which includes double planked doors. The left side has planked doors leading to both the ground floor and the loft. At the rear, there are 20th-century lean-to extensions. Inside, there is an inserted loft in the bays on either side of the central bay, with a tie-beam roof that is braced to jowled main posts and includes raking struts to the collar.
