Description
Paccombe Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with a north range added in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a tiled roof with gable-end stacks. The building has a two-span roof and is two stories tall, with a three-window front facing north. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door set within a 20th-century case, flanked by sidelights. There are 16-pane sash windows on either side of the door, each with segmental heads, and three 16-pane sashes on the first floor. The roof has coped verges, and the stacks are topped with stepped capping. The right side of the building has small sash windows and a 16-pane sash window leading to the rear range, which includes 20th-century windows and an extension with a hipped roof. The interior was not accessible during the survey and is reported to have undergone extensive renovations in the 1970s; however, the original 16th-century four-bay roof of the rear range remains.
