Description

The barn at Manor Farm, located on the north side of the farmyard, dates from around 1850. It features English bond brickwork and a low pitched tiled roof, stretching across approximately 11 bays. The central barn includes some darker brick patterning and has slit and open header ventilation courses. There are two cart entrances, and the structure has tie beams with brackets supporting the bearers in the walls, along with canted struts leading to the two-purlin roof. The range has been extended at both ends to include animal houses, with a two-bay return on the left that has an upper floor with pitching dormers. To the right, there is a later timber and weatherboarded cowshed, which is not of special interest.
