Description
The stables to Ramsbury Manor were built in the mid-17th century and feature a timber frame with a brick facade. The building has a central carriageway flanked by two carriage entrances, each consisting of a pair of six-panel doors topped with a half-round fanlight and a keystone. There are gabled end projections that include large asymmetrical oval windows with stone architraves. Additionally, there is a round-headed light in the tympanum and four dormer windows in the attic. The design is attributed to Isaac de Caus.
