Description

No. 84 High Street is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame with painted brick noggings and a thatched roof. The building is one storey raised to two, consisting of two bays, and has a lean-to outbuilding on the left side. The frame is constructed with two panels high and includes corner braces. The front has a central boarded door and timber casement windows with two and three lights. There is a stack on the left gable and an added flue on the right. The thatch extends low over the rear lean-to on the right bay.
