Description

The bridge and weir on the River Kennet, built between 1775 and 1800, are designed to retain the lake for Ramsbury Manor. The structure features decorative bands of brick and flint around five arches, with the central arch being larger than the others. A limestone dentil course runs along the base of the parapet. This bridge and weir are significant to the overall setting of Ramsbury Manor.
