Description
The gatepiers located to the south-west of Sopworth Manor, White Leas, and Glebe House date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and stand two metres high. The gatepiers are square in shape and feature moulded plinths, three raised and fielded panels on the east and west faces, moulded cornices, and ball finials that are adorned with acanthus decoration on swan neck pedestals.
