Description
Ivy House Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building that dates from the mid-18th century. Originally two cottages, it features coursed rubble with some render, wooden lintels, and a gabled stone slate roof supported by three stone stacks. The farmhouse has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high with a west front that includes four windows, all of which are 4-pane 19th-century sashes. There is a gabled, glazed porch from the late 19th century, which is offset to the right and has a plank door. At the rear, there are service ranges that include a cheese room and a brewhouse, all constructed in stone with stone slate roofs.
