Description
Street Farmhouse is a detached house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with some render, featuring squared dressed stone at the quoins, ashlar dressings, and a gabled stone slate roof with two stone stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the east front consisting of two storeys and four windows. The windows have chamfered mullions and small pane casements, including one three-light window on the ground floor to the left and the rest being two-light windows. There is a central doorway that features a mid-19th century gabled wrought iron porch with a lead canopy and wrought iron railings along the boundary. The door itself is a six-panel design, with the top two panels being glazed. A continuous string course runs along the first floor, and the rear wing includes a reset Tudor-arched doorway.
