Description
Luckley Farmhouse is a farmhouse that underwent mid-19th century remodelling of an earlier house, which may date back to the 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast rubble stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate eaves roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a four-window range and two hipped dormers. The windows are sashes set in flush ashlar surrounds, with eight panes above and twelve panes below. The central door is located in a gabled porch. The east end has two windows, with one window in the attic. The rear of the house features three gables; the northeast rear wing has a twelve-pane sash window on the east side above paired twelve-pane sashes. The smaller central wing has a hipped roof and a twelve-pane sash on the first floor, while the northwest wing includes a north stack and some 18th-century leaded casements.
