Description

The garden walls, gate piers, and gate at the front of Greenhill House date from the mid-18th century. The side walls that are attached to the house are made of limestone ashlar and feature flat coping, blocked side doors, and volutes against the house. The front walls along the road are constructed of rubble stone, with coping that sweeps up to the gate piers, which also have volutes. The gate piers include fielded panels, moulded cappings, and ball finials, and there is a wrought iron gate with scrolled cresting.
