Description
The gate piers and flanking walls located southeast of Garden House at Highlow Hall date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of ashlar gritstone and are square in shape, rising from a shallow plinth. Each pier features a drip moulding beneath a bold, projecting moulded cap, although they do not have finials. The adjoining garden walls, which extend to the northwest and southeast, are made of rubble gritstone and topped with half-round copings.
