Description

No 109 is a detached cottage built around 1840. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof with coped verges and stone stacks at the gable ends. The cottage is two stories high and has two windows on the front. There is a low gabled stone porch with a central planked door, flanked by 16-pane sash windows on either side. A plat band runs across the front, and there are two 12-pane sashes on the first floor. To the right side, there is a single-storey lean-to extension. The rear of the cottage also has sash windows. This building is noted for being a well-preserved example of a mid-19th century cottage.
