Description

The Cottage is a mid-18th century, two-story house, originally built as two cottages. It is now a detached property. The front of the house is faced with dressed limestone, while the returns are of rubble stone. The roof is covered with stone slates and has coped verges, with gable end stacks that have been rendered. The front of the house has three windows. A central 20th-century porch has been added. On the ground floor, there is a three-light, cyma mullioned casement window to the right and a two-light mullioned casement window to the left, with a continuous lintel string course above those windows. The first floor has three two-light mullioned casement windows, also with a lintel string course. A two-story rear lean-to extension is present.
