Description

The column in the garden at Iford Manor is a Grade II listed structure, built in 1916 by H.A. Peto. It is located at the top of stone steps to the north of the Great Terrace. The column is made of unfluted limestone and stands on a square plinth. It features an inscription dedicated to Edward VII, referred to as The Peacemaker, from the year 1916. The column is topped with a Composite capital that includes a standing putto.
