Description
Nicholls Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 1 metre south west of the east entrance gates of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It dates from the late 18th century and features a limestone base and slab, with sandstone side and end panels. The tomb has angle balusters, and the north side displays a shallow relief casket shape with incised lettering and floral sprays at the corners. It is finished with a moulded base and a cyma recta moulded slab.
