Description

The Nicholls Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 5 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Columba in St Columb Minor. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of granite ashlar and slate. The tomb is rectangular and sits on a chamfered plinth, featuring a flat top with a moulded edge and a deep hollow moulding. There is a slate inscription plate on top, dedicated to James Nicholls, dated 1854.
