Description

Kimberley House is a house likely dating to the early 19th century, with later 19th and 20th century alterations. The construction is of stone rubble and cob, rendered externally. It has a slurried scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks have been removed. The original layout comprised two rooms, a larger one to the left and a smaller one to the right, each formerly heated by a gable-end stack. An unheated outshut is integrated to the rear.

The two-storey, nearly symmetrical front has three windows. The first floor features three 19th-century 16-pane sashes. The ground floor has two matching sashes to the left and one to the right. An off-centre C20 panelled and glazed door is positioned to the right. The left end of the building is blank, with a 16-pane sash visible in the single-storey outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
