Description
This milestone, located on the Aldbourne to Swindon Road south of Aldbourne Warren Farm, dates from the early 19th century. It features a limestone half-oval shaft with a grooved top. The original inscription is obscured by repainting, but it currently reads "SWINDON 7, HUNGERFORD 9."
