Description

The gatehouse to Upham House, now functioning as a house, was built in 1913 by Biddulph Pinchard. It is constructed of random undressed sarsen stone and features a stone slate roof. The round arched gateway has been enclosed to create a living room. The building is one storey with an attic and includes hollow chamfered stone mullioned windows. Above the central arch is a gable with kneelers, and there are gable stacks and a clock tower.
