Description
Nos 2 and 3 East Street are a pair of houses dating from the late 17th century, possibly incorporating earlier elements. They are built from rubble stone and topped with a stone slate roof, featuring end stacks. The houses have a symmetrical 2½ storey, 3-window front, showcasing cyma-moulded flush mullion windows. There are two dormer gables, each with 2-light windows and dripstones. The first floor includes three-light, 2-light, and 3-light windows, with dripstones above the outer windows. On the ground floor, there is a dripcourse that steps up over a large central pair of casement windows, aligning with the sill of the window above. Doors are located on each side of the centre, flanking the outer 3-light windows. The interior has not been inspected.
