Description
The Sommersett monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard adjacent to the south-west corner of the porch of the Church of St. Andrew. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded table and base, with fascia and recessed corner balusters. The side panels are divided by drapery between half-pilasters. It commemorates Anne Sommersett, who died in 1791, and Edmund Somerset, who died in 1809.
