Description

The gate piers to Castlefield House date from the early 19th century and are constructed of limestone ashlar. These square gate piers, which feature moulded caps, stand on either side of 20th-century gates. The northern pier is connected to No. 26 Castle Street. These piers were originally part of the entrance to Castlefield House.
