Description

SOUTH NEWTON WARMINSTER ROAD SU 03 NE (south side) 3/40 Little Wishford Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Mid C18, north range c1800, entrance hall c1820, south wing and alterations c1850. English bond brick, tiled roof, brick stacks. Two-storey, 5-window 1850's west front with central French windows, 2-storey flanking ashlar bays with 4-pane and plate glass sashes, first floor with three 4-pane sashes, hipped dormer with sash. Left return has 16-pane sash, C20 casement and good 6- panelled door in moulded architrave to left, 12-pane and 4-pane sashes to first floor. Attached to right return is 2-storey 1850's wing. Interior has chamfered beams with runout and shaped stops, open fireplace to C18 range, early C19 stairs to entrance hall and reeded fireplace surround of c1820 in C18 range.
