Description
The revetment wall with bread stones is located in the churchyard to the east of the Church of St. Giles in Great Wishford. This wall, likely from the 18th century, is made of limestone rubble and stands approximately 1.7 metres high and 7 metres long, extending from the north-east corner of the churchyard to the east steps. It features inserted stone tablets that record the price of bread per gallon from various years, with two older stones on the right that have illegible inscriptions. The wall is noted for its unusual historical interest.
