Shown on ST 83 SW as South Lodge. Lodge to Zeals House (q.v. Zeals c.p.) Dated 1878. Coursed snecked limestone plain tile roof. T-plan, picturesque style. Two storeys, series of stone mullioned casements with diamond leading and set to stopped drips; to road (east) a single light in gable then full gable with 2-light at each level. To left a gabled porch with arched opening over door. South front has 3-light casement over 1:2:1-light canted bay to tiled roof; in the gable a panel with lettering CEL. East front has date 1878 to rain water head, and gable over 2-light and canted bay as south front, then small trian- gular-plan oriel. All gables coped and with moulded kneelers; large central cruciform ashlar stack with square base and deep moulded capping. A rich unaltered exterior worthy of its genre. (Photograph in NMR).
