Description

Dated 1876. Single storey, 3-bay, L-plan gate lodge with Jacobean details. Stugged squared and snecked cream sandstone with polished margins. Eaves course; raised long and short quoins; block skewputts; kneelers to skews.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: glazed timber porch set in re-entrant angle to centre. Advanced gabled bay to outer right; hoodmoulded single window; panelled datestone set in gablehead. Single window in bay to outer left.

W ELEVATION: carved panel set in gablehead.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Purple-grey slate roofs; coped gablehead stacks; moulded octagonal cans; original cast-iron rainwater goods including hopper and decorative brackets to rhones.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995.

Low boundary wall to street.
