Kingsview, 3 Priestfield Road North, Edinburgh

Kingsview is a two-storey, L-plan house built around 1883, featuring a two-stage tower at the re-entrant angle. The exterior is constructed from stugged, coursed, cream sandstone with ashlar dressings, while the sides and rear are made of squared and snecked rubble. It has a base course, cill courses for the first and second floor windows, and a deep course.

On the north range, the east elevation has a gable front with strip quoins and a scroll motif at the eaves. It features a near full-height, four-light, central canted bay window and a castellated parapet. The north elevation includes a three-light stained glass stair window positioned to the right of centre between the floors.

The tower's south elevation has a recessed doorway at ground level with a two-leaf panelled door, flanked by decoratively carved wooden pilasters. Above the door is a single triangular-headed window. The east elevation of the tower features a bipartite triangular-headed window at ground level and another triangular-headed window on the first floor above.

The west range has an advanced, full-height, four-light canted window at the southeast corner, topped with a polygonal roof and a cast-iron finial.
