Description
Nos. 35 and 37 Boreham Road are three-storey buildings that date back to before 1822. They feature a colour-washed brick front with a stone string course beneath the first and second floor cills, chamfered stone quoins, a moulded string course, a plain frieze, and a moulded cornice topped with a brick parapet and stone coping. The buildings have glazing bar sash windows, with four ranges on the upper floors, single hung on the second floor, and two on the ground floor. There are two outer six-panel doors with rectangular fanlights that have a diamond glazing pattern. The lattice porches have been removed since the previous listing, and No. 35 has a modern bracketed hood. There is a dwarf front garden wall with cast-iron railings and iron finials on the gate rails.
