Description

This is a two-storey house dated 1762. It is built of painted local rubble with brick quoins on the right side and ashlar quoins on the left. The front of the house has two windows on each floor. The first floor windows are casements with three and two lights, while the ground floor has a three-light plate glass sash window to the left and a plain sash window to the right, both with moulded frames. A doorway is positioned off-centre to the right, featuring a moulded frame and brackets supporting a flat hood over a four-panel door. The roof is tiled, with a slate catslide to the rear, and a brick chimney on the left-hand gable. A datestone is set above the doorway, bearing the initials "J.G." and the date 1762.
