Description

Holly Lodge is an early to mid-19th century former toll house. It comprises a two-storey ashlar centre, angled, with flanking single-storey wings. The roof is hipped and slate-covered. The upper floor has two windows and a central panel, all with a sill band. There are four windows on the ground floor, all with glazing bar sashes, the side windows set in slight recesses. A later projecting box porch has a cornice and a segmental panel above, designed to house a clock.
