Iona is a cottage located on Hindon High Street, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of English bond brick and features a tiled roof with a shared brick chimney stack on the right side. The building is a single storey with an attic and has two windows. There is a 20th-century door to the left and two 2-light casement windows to the right, with one window in a blocked central doorway. A hipped dormer on the left contains a 2-light casement window. The cottage retains its original outshut at the rear, which has a 20th-century extension. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a timber lintel set on brick jambs.
